SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is a process by which you make your site appealing to Google and other search engines so that they will show you higher in the results when someone searches for something relating to your business.

For instance, if you run a brokerage in Miami, proper SEO might help you show up at the top of the searches for "buy beachfront property Miami."

What does this have to do with Rent Application?

Good question. One of the primary factors used by Google to decide who gets placed higher in the results are backlinks.

Backlinks are just links to your website from other websites on the internet. The more backlinks you have, the higher you'll show up in searches. Backlinks from sites with more backlinks carry greater weight.

SO - we're starting to work on our SEO. We are lucky that we already have a very strong domain from years of doing business. According to Ahrefs, a popular SEO tool, our Domain Rating is 66 out of a possible 100. That's very high. We have over 30,000 backlinks.

This means that links from our site are incredibly valuable.
