Hey Rent App Customers!

We've been hard at work making Rent Application the best software on the market for screening tenants. Between bug fixes, new features, and new integrations, we've had our hands full. However, that doesn't mean that we've been too busy to make small quality-of-life changes to the product.

This post will go over 2 of these small (but mighty!) changes that might help your improve your tenant screening flow. At the bottom, we'll also tell you about our new beta feature, doc signing! And at the very bottom, you'll be able to enroll yourself in the beta test of this feature.

Small changes

So, these might feel like small changes. But they were 2 of the most highly requested feature updates that we've had in recent times.

Here they are.

1. Sending to multiple applicants

This might seem weird. But it used to be the case that using our built in "send" feature on an application would only allow you to send it to one applicant at a time. So you'd have to hit that send button for as many applicants as you were planning on screening.

No more! 

When you click the "send" button next to a form in the "Forms" page of your dashboard, you can click "Add Applicant" as many times as you need, and input the email addresses separately.

Don't worry -- the applicants won't be able to see one another.

2. Sharing applicants to multiple landlords

If you need to share applicants with anyone (rental agents, property managers, landlords, friends, etc), you should know about our share feature. And, if you haven't used our share feature in a while, you'll be glad to know that you can now share with multiple different people at one time.

Simply click the share button in your applicant's overview page.

Then, you can click the "Add Sharee" button as many times as you need to share with multiple people. You can select different levels of access for each person you share it with.

Get beta access

Did you know that we released a doc signing feature? It will allow you to automatically send legally-binding documents (like leases) using auto-populated fields from your applications. No more needing to fill out a whole new docusign every time you rent a new apartment. Set it up once and then forget about it.
